Among other services, Room In The Inn (“RITI”) offers classes where attendance enables one to accumulate points that can be exchanged for goods and services. For example, RITI classes include:
- Bible Study with Rod: https://twb.rocks/riti/bible-with-rod,
- Bible Study with Kathy: TO DO>insert link, update article about Saint Paul (see https://twb.rocks/living/spirit/deniers-of-saint-paul) with history provided 20260716.
- Bible Study with Bill: https://twb.rocks/riti/bible-with-bill,
- Prayer & Meditation with Sheila: https://twb.rocks/riti/prayer-with-sheila,
- Art with Wendy: https://twb.rocks/riti/art-with-wendy,
- Karaoke with Beaux: (TO DO>insert link, 20260619 Karaoke tunes covered Otis Redding, Black Sabbath, Joe Jackson and more!),
- Piano with Raechel: (TO DO>insert link and introduce Nashville Public Library‘s instrument borrowing capacity via its “Library of Things” program (see https://library.nashville.gov/services/library-things) and
- many more (TO DO>insert class schedules offered during July 2026 at https://twb.rocks/riti/class-schedules)
The Activity Tracking Sheet that I am using to the log the sessions that I have already attended (and the goods/services for which I have already exchanged points) is being stored at https://twb.rocks/riti/activity-dm.
Other incentives provided to accumulate points include “Community Cleanup” (see item #1 of image 1.007) and compensation for book reviews (see Image 00
Meal Provision
Lunch: On Monday and Wednesday to Friday, 200 lunch tickets are handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 10:15 AM using a random number system. A sit-down, restaurant-style lunch is served (see insert at right) from 12:00 to 1:00 in the order of the ticket number received. Arrive early to avoid disappointment (eg. waiting until noon to obtain a ticket may result in zero lunch tickets left).
Tuesday? A non-perishable bag lunch is provided for those who are not interested in the noon meal served by nearby McKendree United Methodist Church at 523 Church Street (or the other options available as of 20260726: see Image 1.004).
- Clancy’s: Offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 to 10:00 in exchange for a ?150? point voucher (TO DO>insert details re: coffee, breakfast and entertainment offered in exchange for 240 points)
Products
- the “Express Store” is open 7:15 to 7:45 AM Monday to Friday and twice a week at 1:00 to 1:30 PM on Monday & Friday only (see image 1.001)

Access is granted daily at 1:00 PM if request is made in person between [8:00 – 9:00 AM] and number of units is limited to two per RITI patron.

The reality is, not everyone at RITI is “homeless”: some of us are “divorce-less” (see summary in 20260722 Anniversary Card stored at https://twb.rocks/archives/y2026/m202607/2026-07-22) and some of us are intentionally displaced by other [to do>insert pluralized noun of choice]. Accordingly, access to goods and services (which most Americans have) become daily logistical challenges for those enduring [the homeless industry].
