I first met Room In The Inn (“RITI”) on June 19, 2026 while staying at the Nashville Rescue Mission at 1716 Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. It’s provided nothing but empathy, compassion, kindness, humility and opportunity; so, I thought I should help. My goal for this RITI invitation to participate is threefold:

  1. To raise awareness of RITI programs and services amongst those experiencing homelessness, the newly housed and the barely housed (including those placed in group homes and “shared living” situations) where, for example, safe storage of valuables remains an issue).
  2. To share RITI’s successes with individuals and entities who may be interested in furthering RITI’s initiatives by participating in their Points Programs.
  3. To canvass interest in sharing knowledge and/or wisdom by leading new classes that encourage [healing].

RITI Patron Testimonies

“A haircut? It’s empowering. It’s easier to approach people, it better reflects my church and it lifts my spirits so I can be more outgoing and move forward.”  ~Carl

“When the wheel on my suitcase broke, that was the end of my mobility. Without access to another one, I wouldn’t have been able to access the free meals offered around town.”  ~(insert name)
